Which License Should I Purchase?

Heres a quick guide explaining beat licensing.

In my store, I have three licensing options: Premium, Premium Plus and Unlimited.

First let's go over the Premium license ($29.99).

I recommend this license to beginning artists looking to promote their song on SoundCloud or YouTube. Although there are no tracked out files and a limitation to the number of streams allowed, it is the cheapest option for an artist just starting out looking to get their music out there.

This license comes with an industry quality .WAV and .MP3 file with no tracked out files and limitations to the number of streams allowed.

The Premium Plus license gives an artist more freedom when releasing their music ($74.99).

This is the most popular license among artist who are releasing their music on streaming platforms like Spotify or Apple Music or who are looking to perform their song live in paid performances.

With this license an artist will receive an industry quality .WAV and .MP3 file with the tracked out files, but will still have streaming limitations. Tracked out files are each sound delivered separately in a .WAV format. For example, if the beat has a sample, kick, snare and hi-hat, each one of these sounds will be sent individually.  Tracked out files are essential in proving a professional mix to a song as an engineer can manipulate each individual sound.

Lastly, the Unlimited license provides complete freedom to the artist ($99.99).

This license is for artists who believe their song will perform well on streaming services and will exceed the streaming caps of the other licenses. There are no limitations to this license and are especially useful for artists looking to record a music video for YouTube. This is the only license in which an artist can monetize from YouTube streams.

When purchasing an Unlimited license for your beat you will receive an industry quality .WAV and .MP3 file, the tracked out files, and will have no limitations to sales, streams or YouTube monetization. We strongly recommend this license to professional artists.

While licensing can be a confusing topic, it is essential to understand which type would best fit your needs as an artist. If you are still having trouble, feel free to reach out to me through my email: jacobyagi@gmail.com or DM me on Instagram @Keiji_music.
