Class Schedule:
- Sign-ups end May 28th, 2023
- Class begins June 5th and ends July 30th
- Class will meet twice a week for one hour
- Keiji will meet with students individually once a week
Why take this course?
If you have ever struggled with creating original melodies or chord progressions, music theory and piano are the keys to success. This 8-week course teaches music producers everything they need to learn about piano and music theory to eliminate beatblock. After this course, students will be able to play piano freely and easily convey musical ideas in their music. In the final two weeks of the class, the cohort will come together to produce a collaborative album which will be released on all platforms.

Who is Keiji?
Keiji is a music producer and sample maker living in Los Angeles. He started producing and studying music 7 years ago while getting his bachelor's degree in Theatre and Music from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Since graduating, Keiji has furthered his study in music theory and piano by taking various courses from Ron Gilmore, Mario Luciano, and Bruce Beats. Keiji tutors music producers in piano and music theory which has helped unlock their full potential as creators. With these skills, Keiji's students have developed a strong social media presence, gained hundreds of thousands of streams on streaming services and have released music with various record labels.
